Monday, July 7th at 2:42 PM we received "The Call" from our agency telling us all about our little girl. She was born October 22, 2007 in Chongqing, Sichuan China - the province that had the major earthquake this past May. Our little girl was given the name Xiu Hua Yan. We have named her Danika Joy, she has already brought us a lot of joy!
Danika currently is currently in the Xiushan Social Welfare Institute and at her 5 month checkup she weight 13.2 lbs and was 23" long - she is a peanut!
We think she is the cutest little girl in the world and we can't wait to travel to China soon to bring her home.
