Sprinkler water tastes as good as bath water!Today is a very special day in our lives. Today marks the day that Danika has been with us longer than she has been without us in her life. We are so thankful to celebrate this wonderful day with her.
It seems that every day brings new changes and development. She is putting together simple sentences "Hi Mamma", "Bye Bye Daddy", Play, Ball, Anna"
Danika loves the outdoors and has discovered the wonders of the sprinkler, her swingset and the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe car. (That cute little red car with the yellow roof seen in many driveways across America). We've been wanting to get her the swingset and the car and are so blessed that the Lord provided! Within a week of deciding we'd like to get these outdoor toys for Danika we found them both "gently used" at excellent prices and she is a happy camper!
Today was "pajama day" at daycare so we decked her out in her pj's and she struck a pose for the camera this morning. It was her first "theme party" and she thoroughly enjoyed baking and decorating cookies to eat with her friends.
We are so blessed to have this amazing and wonderful gift from God in our lives!

What a great update, Karen! Glad you found a car!!! I can't believe how little D has grown and changed since we last saw you. What a sweet smile. Also, isn't this day amazing. I remember when Ron did the math for us, too. It is an incredible milestone. Congratulations Herman family!
I remember celebrating that same milestone w/Maddy around this time last year. What a truly special day.
