We are so thankful we were able to take a 5 day vacation from the cold weather and snow in Minnesota and bring the girls on their first visit to Disney World!  Both girls were great travelers and our flight was uneventful.  When we arrived we quickly checked into our hotel and caught a cab to the Contemporary Resort so we could have dinner at Chef Mickey's with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofey.  Danika LOVED hugging the characters and getting their autographs.  Sienna was pretty frightened at first but once she discovered they were soft and huggable she enjoyed them as well.  She wasn't sure she wanted to give up her autograph pen to them however and promptly autographed all the pages in her book with her own autograph.

The first full day we went to Disney's Animal Kingdom and we enjoyed seeing the wild animals, eating Mickey Mouse ice cream bars and taking the jeep safari ride, although Danika thought the jeep driver went way too fast.

The next day we spent at Magic Kingdom.  We were so very blessed to meet up with Danika and Sienna's China friends (whom we met when we traveled to bring Danika home) - Kate and Grace and their parents.  To be at Disney was wonderful but to be with these two very special families was just the icing on the cake.  Danika and Sienna enjoyed rides at Magic Kingdom and having lunch with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eyore.

Our final full day we spent the morning at Epcot and Danika and Sienna got to have breakfast with the Disney princesses.  The girls loved dressing up in their princess dresses and meeting the princesses as they came to our table.  In the afternoon we headed back to the hotel for a nap and then Daddy and Danika went to the pool while Mommy and Sienna played and enjoyed the warm Florida sunshine.

Upon arriving home we prompty received another 17 inches of white fluffy stuff.  Our vacation is just a memory now but very precious memories!

Your vacation looks wonderful. So glad you could some warmth and sunshine. Too bad you returned to so much snow. The girls are beautiful, as always, and really growing. Blessings

My favorite photo was the "double happiness" stroller one. The photos brought back memories of our Florida trip...6 years ago now.

Nice to "meet" you! So glad you swung by my blog. :D Your daughters are so beautiful!

Funny thing - I'm heading to Minnesota this weekend for a China reunion with my travel group. My agency was CHSFS. I haven't seen the families from my group in over three years. I can't wait to see them again!

We are big Disney World fans in our house!
