We've had a great end of winter/spring/almost summer like weather lately! It's hard to believe that halfway through March we are enjoying weather more typical of July in Minnesota The girls have made the most of every moment of the unusually warm weather and are soaking up the warm and sunshine.

This last weekend we took the girls to The Depot downtown for two nghts and 2.5 days of fun and relaxing at the indoor water park. We all LOVED it. This was a great place for the kids to play, the water was never more than 2.5' deep and it was WARM and relaxing. The girls loved climbing up the train and sliding down the slides. Every 15 minutes the train "chugged" and then spouted showers of water. At first the girls were scared but before long they were running to the train to enjoy the water sprays.

Both girls enjoyed "out to eat" for some of our meals as well as we have really been cutting out our eating out and are trying to make going out to eat a rare and special treat. Our hotel package came with a breakfast buffet and it was great. The girls loved fresh fruit with real whipped cream, made to order omelets and hot of the iron waffles. The biggest perk...FRUIT LOOPS cereal in individual boxes.

After our water park fun we went to Old Spaghetti factory for a special lunch and a great way to cap off our weekend "baycation" as Danika called it. It's great to go somewhere that is less than 15 miles from home and feel like you've actually had a vacation!

Looks like a really great waterpark. We've been having good weather in Pennsylvania. It's been around 80 for several days, BUT the weekend is supposed to be around 58. We get used to the warm weather and then WANT it to stay. Happy Spring to all of you. Blessings

I love seeing the pictures and reading about your fun.

Lovingly,

What a great idea! I never thought of it and it is so close, but looks like so much fun. Have peeked in at our your blog many times over the years. Both your girls are so beautiful and look to be doing so well!
