Three years ago today we submitted our application to our agency to adopt a little girl from China. At that time we had NO idea our wait would be this long. (The average wait time at the time we submitted our application was 6 months!). Needless to say it has been a long haul but soon it will be over! We are anxiously awaiting our Consulate Appointment so we can travel to get our Danika!

Thank you for your well wishes on our referral for our baby Abigail! We are so excited to finally have a face to put to this excruciating wait.
And wow, we have daughters from the same orphanage - how exciting. I was intrigued by the 'red sweater' that both of our daughters seem to be wearing. Must be an orphanage thing.
AND if that wasn't enough, I had happened upon your site about a week ago and LOVED the look of it that I went to 'cutest blog bkgrnds' and gave mine a face lift, so thank you for the inspiration.
Hopefully you will get to travel really soon. BTW have you found out whether you will be able to visit the orphanage or not?? Just wondering.
