Ok, we are NOT not taking this many suitcases, but Miss Danika's suitcase is packed and ready to go and soon we will be too!

Today we received the final "missing piece" of the China equation - our Consulate Appointment at the American Consulate in Guangzhou, China! We will be leaving for Beijing on September 4th, traveling from Beijing to Danika's city Chongqing on September 10th and we will meet Danika on September 11th! September 11th is also our dear niece Lisa's birthday! We will see Lisa in Beijing. After our stay in Chongqing we will travel to Guangzhou and Danika will become a US Citizen on September 23rd and we will get Danika's passport and take the oath of Citizenship on her behalf on September 24th. We will depart from Guangzhou to Tokyo and Tokyo to Minneapolis St. Paul Airport on Thursday, September 25th landing at 12:05 pm. It's really happening!!

Wow I am so excited for the news of your travel! My dad's bday is Sept 11 (always a special day) and my youngest sons bday is Sept 23 (the day you are at the Consulate) and dear sweet Abigail's bday is Sept 24th. I can only hope that we received super speedy travel arrangements and get to travel mid-September too. Wouldn't it be a hoot to meet up there?!?
